A Little Bit About Me
Over the past decade I have devoted my time to writing, coaching, and speaking in areas that I have the upmost passion about: Intimacy with Prostate Cancer™, Men’s Work, Entrepreneurship and Martial Arts.
I have been speaking publicly for more than 30 years. Early in my career I hosted my own radio show. I have conducted more than 100 workshops and presentations. I have also been behind and in front of the camera in films, commercials and training videos.
I have spent most of my career in small business consulting, politics and government, most recently as a Community Builder for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
I have written 5 books. My two latest, Recaptured Love: Intimacy-Sex and Prostate Cancer and Men of Color: Men of Honor.
I have 3 adults sons. I live in metro Detroit with my cat, Mr. Tibbs. In my free time, I enjoy small urban farming, cooking, reading, martial arts, and hand drumming.

Zanti Meko-Qwanzi has been a student of human sexuality since the age of 17. Zanti attended Grand Valley State University where he graduated with a double major degree in Business Management and Arts & Media (film, video and photography) with a minor in Advertising and Public Relations.
As an award-winning small business management consultant, Men’s Work facilitator, and Intimacy with Prostate Cancer™ Coach, Zanti has taught and worked with a wide variety of men and women. His friendly speaking style blends real world experiences and audience participation. He offers audiences a unique perspective on Men of Color: Men of Honor, Men Thinking Independently, and Intimacy with Prostate Cancer™ that helps them to reawaken or start their path as independent thinking Men of Color: Men of Honor.
One of Zanti’s greatest passions and missions in life is helping men embrace their full masculine power as Men of Color: Men of Honor.
